Yangarra
Resources Ltd. has a 100% working interest (subject to various GORRS of
4-7% on ˝ of the property) in a total of 123 sections of land in this
core area located south of the city of Medicine Hat, Alberta.
A
compressor station situated at 5-25-9-6W4, built by Yangarra at the end
of 2003, is capable of 4.0 million cubic feet per day and can be
expanded to 8.0 million cubic feet per day.
A total of
62 wells have been drilled on the property to prove up the shallow gas
Second White Specs and Medicine Hat zones; as well, deeper gas wells
are producing from the Sunburst and Sawtooth formations.
Initial
drilling on the property was to determine that the productive
capability of the property was commercial. High initial water
production rates slowed the development of this property in its
formative stage. However, a water transfer and disposal system
alleviated the costs associated with high water rates. New methods of
determining where the water originated in this multi-zone area has
resulted in much lower water production rates in subsequent drilling
and completion programs.
Ferrier, Alberta
Yangarra
Resources Ltd. has interest in 20 sections (average 33-46% working
interest) in this multi-zone area. The field is located north of the
town of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta..
A
compressor station capable of 10 Mmcf/d was constructed in early 2004.
Yangarra has a 50% ownership in this facility.
A total of
17 wells have been drilled or re-entered in this core area, which have
gas production from the Belly River, Cardium, Ostracod/Rock Creek
formation and oil from the Viking formation.
Jaslan,
Alberta
Yangarra
has interest in 5 1/4 sections (37.5% working interest) and 12 sections
(100% working interest) in this area located 120 km north of Edmonton.
This area has multi-zone potential and shallow drilling depths up to
600m. A compressor station was constructed for the area in November
2006 (45.42% working interest).

Yangarra
has earned 90% working interest in 7 sections through a 10 section
farm-in with Husky Energy in northern Alberta.
Viking, Alberta
Yangarra
has 25% working interest in three wells located in the Viking area
north of Wainright, Alberta.
